Peach and cobalt blue...what pretty colors that compliment each other. Today I thought I'd participate in
The Color Hues June 16th challenge.
The cat image I chose is an oldie goldie from PSX and my favorite feline image. I started with an A-2 cobalt blue card. On the front panel I cut 3" off of the top of the base card. I cut a piece of 4-1/8" x 2-3/8" peach card stock and embossed it with a swirl embossing folder. This layer was attached to the front lower panel. I cut a piece of white (4-1/8" x 5-1/4") and attached it to the inside of the card. On a piece of white card stock I stamped the cat and sentiment in blue and cut it out with an arch die. I backed it with another arch die cut (a little larger) in peach. That layer was attached to a blue rectangle and attached to the bottom panel of the card. Lastly, I added a cobalt color punched butterfly with peach gems down the center.

The arched frame is a perfect place for your contented looking cat! The layering of frames and the embossed panel make for a wonderful design. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
ReplyDeleteDeb, I love your creative design, letting the cat have its proper place as the focus (as all cats think they should lol!). It's wonderful to see an old PSX stamp, she is a beauty. The sentiment so wonderful as well. Thank you so much for joining in for my color challenge at Color Hues!
